Kutztown Radio was founded in 1992 by Lewis Newhard and friends with the goal of offering superior antique radio sales and service. Today, Kutztown Radio is operated by John Tyminski.

Kutztown Radio continues to offer fully restored antique radios, televisions, phonographs, tube audio equipment, hi-fi stereo systems, and record players, along with professional restoration and repair services. We also stock a wide range of vintage electronic parts and supplies, including vacuum tubes, phonograph cartridges and needles, capacitors, resistors, solder, RCA 45 player parts, vintage cloth-covered wire, and many other hard-to-find components.

John Tyminski is an experienced electronics technician and licensed Pennsylvania auctioneer with more than 20 years of restoration and repair experience. His expertise includes antique radio and television repair, restoration, appraisal, marketing, and sales. John specializes in 1930s-era radios and vintage electronics from brands such as Clarion, Atwater Kent, Philco, RCA, Westinghouse, Zenith, and Crosley. He also specializes in record changer repair, RCA 45 record players, and vintage television restoration, including the iconic Philco Predicta television sets.

John is a member of the Delaware Valley Historic Radio Club, the New Jersey Antique Radio Club, and the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association.
